Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at STERIS. As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training plans, leading multi-week training programs, and documenting and reviewing training efforts to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement training plans based on the priorities of the facility and staff members
  • Lead multi-week training programs for all new Sterile Processing employees at the facility
  • Document and review training efforts to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Identify employee knowledge gaps and create an ongoing development plan for all members of the Sterile Processing team
  • Build continuing education programs with a focus on new products and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in Sterile Processing
  • 3+ years' experience in training
  • CRCST (HSPA) or CSPDT (CBSPD) Certification required
  • CER (HSPA) or CFER (CBSPD) within 6 months of hire date or promotion
  • CIS (HSPA) or CSIS (CBSPD) or CST (NBSTSA) certification within 1 year of hire date or promotion
  • Maintain certification by completing 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours each year, or more if required for a specific certification
