Job Summary

The Floor Technician will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of floors in our facilities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety and Compliance
    • Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
  • Facilities Maintenance
    • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure floors are clean and well-maintained.
    • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery.
    • Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
    • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Qualifications
    • Education and Experience
      • No formal education requirement; 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $16.50 - $17.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
