Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at SpecialtyRx. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, including monitoring storage and inventory of medications and supplies, maintaining floor stock, and rotating stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of a supervisor to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of medication inventory and supplies.
  • Restock and remove expired medications, and rotate stock to ensure quality controls.
  • Prepack and package medications for floor bulk prescriptions.
  • Package and ship medications in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure adherence to pharmacy standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to support the goals of the pharmacy.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed KY Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Previous data entry experience preferred.
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of OnDemand Express III machine a plus.
  • Previous experience working in an automated environment.
  • Reliable and able to execute multiple tasks assigned.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting.
