Speech Language Pathologist, Home Health Specialist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.

Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations and physician's orders.

Continuously assess and revise treatment plans as needed.

Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.

Qualifications:

Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in VA.

Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent educational requirements and work experience.

Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
