Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nursing Faculty member to join our team at Adtalem Global Education. As a Nursing Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our nursing programs, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Teach and mentor students in our nursing programs, including classroom, online, and clinical instruction.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of our nursing curriculum, including course design and revision.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes, including the development and implementation of assessment tools and methods.
  • Service to the University: Participate in service to the university, including committee work, academic advising, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing: A master's degree in nursing is required, with a focus on pediatrics, maternal-child nursing, community health, or mental health.
  • Professional Nurse Licensure: Professional nurse licensure in the state of North Carolina is required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • High Level of Initiative and Prudent Judgment: A high level of initiative and prudent judgment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
