Job Summary

The Driver Helper is responsible for safely delivering products to customers from our warehouse in North Aurora, Illinois, to designated customer sites. This role requires a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute an efficient delivery route
  • Unload beer and liquor to retail and liquor stores
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Assist in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed
  • Compile accurate delivery records and reports
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive safely
  • Ability to use navigation tools: onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
  • Ability to handle loading and unloading responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimally, one year of experience as a CDL driver
Physical Requirements
  • Stacking duties require bending down on the floor level to lift beer cases weighing up to 20 pounds, 1/4 and 1/2 barrels, when full, up to 160 pounds, and empty, 20 pounds
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to load and unload packages
  • This position requires physical labor
