Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in North Aurora, IL. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in the loading/unloading process if required
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have verifiable Class A experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
