About the Role:
The Chief Operating Office team within U.S. Personal Banking (USPB) is dedicated to driving strategic growth and achieving operational excellence across the USPB franchise. The ideal candidate will serve as an individual contributor within a focused team. This role offers a unique chance to:
- Engage with and influence senior management agendas.
- Gain insights and experience across various personal banking sectors.
- Establish relationships and networks with key leaders in the personal banking domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of reporting and analytics for strategic expense management and resource allocation, aimed at uncovering insights and best practices to inform decision-making.
- Exhibit expertise in all data and analysis pertinent to the project, understanding key performance drivers.
- Create impactful visual representations of metrics to facilitate understanding, enabling executive leadership to interpret insights and make strategic decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, finance teams, and subject matter experts.
- Deliver on personal work plans with a commitment to high-quality standards and minimal supervision.
- Support the creation of presentations for executive-level audiences and respond to ad hoc requests as needed.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while balancing competing priorities.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of consumer financial services, with a clear understanding of performance drivers and decision-making processes.
- Proficient in financial statements and expense management, with demonstrated skills in Excel-based modeling and analytics.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of filtering and validating complex information from various sources.
- Self-driven and organized, with proven problem-solving capabilities and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
