Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Consultant with a focus on RHEL 9 Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) and OpenShift. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in RHEL 9 administration, automation, and container orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support and strategic guidance on RHEL 9 administration, configuration, and optimization.
- Design and implement automation solutions utilizing Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications via Red Hat OpenShift, ensuring optimal scalability, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with various teams to create and execute solutions that fulfill business needs while adhering to industry best practices.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for RHEL 9 systems and OpenShift environments.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to RHEL, AAP, and OpenShift.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in RHEL 9 administration and support.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat's Advanced Automation Platform (AAP) for infrastructure automation.
- Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash or Python for automation and orchestration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
