**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Patient Onboarding**: Welcome new patients, review program procedures, and ensure a smooth transition into treatment.
  • **Community Engagement**: Facilitate daily community meetings, promoting a sense of community and connection among patients.
  • **Interdisciplinary Collaboration**: Participate in staff meetings and conferences, working closely with clinicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • **Patient Support**: Accompany patients to appointments, identify strengths, and educate them about various modes of recovery.
  • **Program Development**: Assist in the development of the Wellbridge alumni group, encouraging participation, scheduling speakers, and hosting events to promote a successful transition upon leaving treatment.
  • **Feedback and Evaluation**: Gather feedback from patients on program content and suggest improvements to enhance the overall treatment experience.
  • **Crisis Support**: Provide non-clinical crisis support, modeling coping skills and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or CRPA-P preferred.
  • CPR certified or obtained within six months of hire.
  • Knowledge and understanding of alcoholism or addiction.
  • Six months experience working in a direct client/patient environment.
