We are seeking a talented Airport Infrastructure Project Manager to join our National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) Team, providing expert support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in Fort Worth, TX, and involves 100% travel within the central region of the US. The project duration varies between 2-9 months based on the scope, ensuring regular trips home every 30 days.

Job Description
  • Provide project management expertise to oversee the construction and installation of equipment into the National Airspace System (NAS)
  • Coordinate and participate in engineering-to-construction handoff meetings, pre-construction planning, and integrated risk management coordination meetings
  • Review and concur or develop cutover plans for various systems, ensuring compliance with site-specific project drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Set expectations with contractors regarding scope changes, cost, and schedule adjustments
  • Recommend acceptance of GFM and CFM deliveries and test date results
  • Visit sites before construction starts to research data, survey the area, begin badging processes, and complete project-related activities
Key Responsibilities

As an Airport Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Documenting projects in the FAA Weekly Construction Report
  • Providing daily coordination and updates to FAA RE/COR
  • Reviewing and understanding project documents, including scopes of work, construction transmittals, design drawings, and operational risk management checklists
  • Utilizing project engineers as technical resources during projects
  • Contacting FAA RE/COR for scope changes and conducting joint acceptance inspections (JAI) and contractor acceptance inspections (CAI)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field and a minimum 4 years of experience as Project Engineer/Resident Engineer with Civil Engineering Design and Project Management experience OR Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Assoc (NFPA) standards, OSHA, and general construction and electrical safety standards
  • Familiarity with NAS facilities, such as ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG, and Corporate Work Plan (CWP) 4.1.12
