This role is part of the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) Team, providing support to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Infrastructure Engineering Center in Fort Worth, TX.

Civil Engineer Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop site-specific project plans and specifications for solicitation and contracting of engineering projects for FAA approval and acceptance.
  • Perform site surveys to collect site-specific project data and research all relevant standards, construction codes, and ordinances.
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions to issues identified during the site survey.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and 4+ years of experience with Civil Engineering Design, particularly with tower, shelter, and similar structure projects.

Additionally, the candidate should possess knowledge of multiple aspects of Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS), including metal equipment towers, commercial/industrial structures, roof replacements, emergency and battery backup systems, small HVAC systems, remote site work, road design, concrete, site grading, equipment shelters, concrete foundations, structural, environmental permitting, lightning protection and grounding, hazmat abatement, and construction risk management.

The salary range for this position is between $72,150.00 and $130,425.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
