Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for our patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Preferred certifications include The S.T.A.B.L.E Program and Neonatal Resuscitation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
