Physician - Primary Care Specialist

A Primary Care Physician with Eskenazi Health Center Inc. (EHC) provides comprehensive medical services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. The ideal candidate will be committed to the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Center and work collaboratively to achieve them.
Responsibilities
Obtains health history and performs examinations
Diagnoses and directs counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment
Prescribes medication in accordance with Indiana statute and professional guidelines
Performs minor procedures in accordance with professional credentialing
Arranges referral for patients requiring services outside of the scope of Primary Care, including transfer to inpatient care
Requirements
Current licensure as an MD to practice in the State of Indiana by the State Board of Medical Examiners
Current DEA, CSR Registration
Board Eligible or Boards Certified in physician specialty
Insurability (malpractice)
Current BLS or PALS
