Security Program Management Officer

Role Overview:

Oversee the security operations and compliance measures at a designated client site, ensuring adherence to intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, and corporate security protocols. Address and resolve compliance discrepancies. Offer security-related advice and strategic recommendations to personnel at all organizational levels. Supervise administrative processes related to security clearances for staff and provide counsel on security matters. Support security assessments for specialized programs as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing comprehensive security support across various disciplines, including personnel, physical, technical, operational, and information security, aimed at safeguarding personnel, sensitive information, facilities, and operational capabilities.
  • Experience in Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) management.
  • Familiarity with security regulations and policies, including ICD 705 and Security Executive Agent Directives.
  • Possession of a Top Secret security clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Special Security Officer in a contracting environment.
  • Understanding of security practices related to contracts and acquisitions.
  • Ability to assess complex security challenges, devise targeted solutions, and act independently in uncertain situations.
  • Capacity to provide discreet and constructive security guidance to all levels of personnel, including senior management and clients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security evaluation and must meet the criteria for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
