Security Program Management Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the security program and related activities at a designated facility, ensuring adherence to the standards set by the intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and corporate security protocols. Conduct reviews and investigations into compliance discrepancies. Offer security-related advice, guidance, and recommendations to personnel at all levels. Supervise program and administrative tasks concerning security clearances for employees and provide counsel to management and staff on relevant issues. Assist with security volume reviews for proposals as needed. Facilitate security support for compartmented or special access initiatives, as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering comprehensive, responsive security support across multiple disciplines, including personnel, physical, technical, operational, and information security, aimed at safeguarding corporate and client personnel, information, facilities, programs, and capabilities.
  • Experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) administration.
  • Familiarity with personnel and physical security regulations and policies, including ICD 705 and Security Executive Agent Directives.
  • Possession of a Top Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Contractor Special Security Officer.
  • Understanding of contract and acquisition security practices.
  • Capability to analyze complex issues, develop and articulate focused solutions, and take independent action in often ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and discreet security advice and guidance to personnel across all levels, including senior management, peers, subordinates, and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
