Job Title: Field Service Technician

Beusa Energy is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of multiple makes of generators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including generators, engines, and switchgear.
  • Perform routine maintenance and daily tasks on packages in your area of responsibility.
  • Work with service writers, foremen, and parts departments to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Meet requirements for company and customer certifications/safety.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4 years of medium voltage electrical experience or 2 years of experience with diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
  • 24 months of previous oilfield experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API, and GPA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical college training or associate degree in electrical technology or related field.
  • Protection relay experience/certifications.
  • Certified journeyman electrician/master electrician.
  • Gas turbine or aircraft engine services (A&P license).
