Your Role:
The Community HIV Tester will actively engage with individuals in various communities, focusing on HIV, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Hepatitis C testing.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, enhance, and deliver comprehensive programs and workshops on HIV/STD/HCV prevention, utilizing effective strategies and innovative interventions tailored for communities at higher risk, particularly individuals of color.
2. Increase the availability of HIV/STD/HCV testing services, ensuring that more individuals are aware of their health status.
3. Identify individuals living with HIV/STD/HCV and facilitate access to quality medical care and prevention services, collaborating closely with the Manager of HIV Prevention Programs.
4. Work alongside the Manager of HIV Prevention Programs to engage individuals in prevention services, including PrEP, PEP, and Case Management.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; degree preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in presenting and facilitating workshops.
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile testing unit operations.
- Knowledge of HIV, STDs, and HCV prevention strategies.
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
- Commitment to understanding and addressing racial inequities in health care.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.

Additional Information:
All candidates will undergo a language assessment to evaluate their Spanish proficiency as part of the interview process.
