Job Overview

**Position Summary:**

The Distribution Center Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing essential support functions within the logistics center.

**Key Responsibilities:**

*Manage locator files using Excel, organized by location, item code, and job number.

*Document notes on Ship Advice Worksheets (SAWs) within The Manufacturing Manager (TMM) system.

*Input data from incoming intercompany transfers accurately.

*Keep a detailed log of customer returns.

*Process purchase order receipts efficiently.

*Maintain comprehensive records for all distribution center files.

*Prepare shipping documentation for all outgoing shipments.

*Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks of finished goods in the warehouse.

*Perform additional tasks as assigned.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

*Effective Communication: Ability to engage in one-on-one or group discussions and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

*Analytical Thinking: Capability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagrammatic formats.

*Mathematical Proficiency: Competence in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure.

*Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

**Education and Experience Requirements:**

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

**Additional Requirements:**

*Experience in shipping coordination or similar roles is preferred.

*A proactive individual is encouraged, as this role has the potential for advancement into a leadership or managerial position when opportunities arise.

*Proficiency in Excel is essential, with daily usage expected.

*Ability to coordinate shipments effectively, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.

*Willingness to work in a production environment, which may involve exposure to heat, rather than being confined to a desk.

*Availability to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility to stay late for urgent shipments as needed.

**Salary Information:**

$20 - $24 per hour
