Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Implement receiving and merchandising standards while promoting teamwork among Associates.
  • Oversee the delivery process, ensuring merchandise is efficiently processed and displayed on the sales floor.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Associates on established merchandising practices.
  • Ensure all merchandise is accurately tagged, displayed, and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain a smooth flow of goods.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the backroom area, adhering to all safety and recycling protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs for Associates.
  • Promote store initiatives, including credit and loyalty programs, while supporting shrink reduction efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items with or without accommodation.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience and 6 months in a leadership role.
