About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Disorders Specialist to join our team at the Abbeville County School District. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid teaching certificate, and experience working with students with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and treatment services to students with communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies to support students with speech and language impairments.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid teaching certificate.
  • Experience working with students with speech and language impairments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
