Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Accel Talent Group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repair and maintenance of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, power transmissions, brakes, drivelines, and other automotive systems.
Salary: $25-$40 per hour.
About the Job:As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic at Accel Talent Group, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues across all operating systems.
You will work on diesel trucks and/or buses, utilizing your expertise to execute repairs and maintenance efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine malfunctions in trucks and/or buses using keen observation and listening skills
- Execute preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues across all operating systems
- Utilize manuals, hand tools, and power tools to carry out repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, power transmissions, brakes, drivelines, and other automotive systems
- Remove and replace parts for repair within specified time frames
- Maintain accurate service data entry for all services performed
- Operate mobile equipment as needed
- Provide technical advice to drivers and other operators as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures
Essential requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
Valuable experience: Minimum 2 years in heavy automotive equipment maintenance
Preferred qualification: Trade school or related mechanical/technical certification
