Job Summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Lenoir Health. This is a 6-month contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $68.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including telemetry, neurology, and renal care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and licensure

Requirements:

  • Active and unconditional license as a registered nurse from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
