We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at UNC Health Lenoir. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Active and unconditional license as a registered nurse from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the Emergency Department.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
