Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Job Summary:The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for providing daily support to the unit leadership and responding to resident and family needs in a timely manner. You will use your nursing process judgment and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
Responsibilities:- Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs.
- Use nursing process judgment and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
- Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings.
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and resident responses.
- Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Current license in good standing in New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Dedicated to providing clinically sound and compassionate care.
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, and sometimes challenging residents.
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
- Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated.
