UPS is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical, and engine control systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
  • Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles, as well as power and pneumatic tools.
  • Meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified.

Requirements:

  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
  • Possesses a full complement of personal hand tools.
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - preferred.
  • NY State Inspection License - required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $38.22 per hour.
