About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medication Associate to join our team at IntegraCare. As a Medication Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing, administering, and charting medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medications as directed by the resident's physician.
  • Monitoring and Documentation: Perform pulse and blood pressure measurements, administer PRN drugs as directed, and document changes in the resident's condition.
  • Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers: Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfer procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for residents.
  • Electronic Documentation: Complete all required electronic documentation in a timely manner, including the Medication Administration Record, Controlled Substance and Destructions logs, and Resident Records.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Respond to resident requests, respect resident rights, dignity, and privacy, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Must be a Pennsylvania Certified Medication Associate.
  • Skills and Abilities: Self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, including day, evening, and rotating weekends.
  • Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Greensburg, PA 15601 before starting work.
