Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality systems, inspection, and testing at our Mountain Home, ID facility. The successful candidate will ensure compliance and conformance with federal and state regulations, SQF, customer, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Lead Quality Technicians, Quality Technicians, Lab Technicians, and Cheese Graders to ensure all testing equipment and procedures conform to standard requirements.
  • Lead the plant's quality programs, including Preventive Controls/HACCP, Food Defense, internal and external audits, customer complaints, and quality certifications.
  • Collaborate with plant operations to operate the Mountain Home plant in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Two to four years QA experience in field, laboratory, or production facility quality control and/or quality assurance in a food processing and manufacturing operation.
  • Ability to effectively supervise direct reports and achieve and maintain certification in Preventive Controls/HACCP.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and effectively present information to groups of managers.
