Job Opportunity

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is seeking a distinguished academic radiologist to lead the Pediatric Radiology Section as Section Chief. This is a full-time position with a renewable term of up to five years. As Section Chief, the appointee will be responsible for enhancing the clinical and academic excellence of the Pediatric Radiology Section.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric radiology, with experience in training and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows. The appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine.

The University of Chicago Medical Center is a Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, and Comer Children's Hospital offers a full range of pediatric services. The Department of Radiology includes over 80 full-time faculty members, clinical associates, and postdoctoral researchers, and conducts cutting-edge translational and clinical research.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a medical doctorate or equivalent, be Board certified or eligible in Radiology, and have completed a Pediatric Radiology fellowship or have equivalent experience in pediatric radiology.
