The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, is seeking an associate or full professor to join our vibrant community of faculty colleagues and learners.
As a full-time faculty member, the appointee will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and lead the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Section with the goal of enhancing its clinical and academic excellence.
We welcome applicants who are accomplished program builders and leaders with strong administrative, operational, and financial knowledge and collaborative skills, and experienced mentors willing to pursue the academic and clinical development of the faculty and staff of the Section and the Emergency Room.
Additionally, we welcome applicants with clinical research experience, leading clinical trials, quality and/or health outcomes, investigator-initiated clinical trials, and/or multi-center IRB approved studies.
The University of Chicago has a long tradition of excellence in patient care, basic, clinical, and translational sciences, and provides a unique opportunity for a career as an academic physician.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must have a MD or equivalent, be Board certified in Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine, and be Board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
