Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, PC is a leading medical organization dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiology care. We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Imaging Specialist to join our team at our Upland, PA office.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a $2,500.00 sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and/or stress echoes under the supervision of physicians and clinical supervisors.
- Maintain echo lab protocols and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
- Operate machinery and prepare preliminary echo updates in the electronic medical record (EMR) for the presence or absence of any abnormalities in the studies.
- Document daily log book entries in Excel on the S drive, including date, patient name, diagnosis, and type of test.
- Notify physicians in a timely manner of any new significant abnormal findings noted during the test.
- Perform daily, monthly, and annual care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, and troubleshoot any potential problems.
- Ensure open communication with other staff members by checking email daily.
- Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality.
- Must be a Registered/Certified Echo Technician.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience.
- Must have the ability to multitask.
- Computer knowledge is a must.
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus.
