Job SummaryAs a Machinist - Plastic Injection Molding Specialist at Seneca Resources, you will be responsible for setting up and operating plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts. You will also assemble and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications, and utilize hand tools, power tools, and bore gauges to perform machining tasks. Additionally, you will assist with tooling changes and maintenance as needed, and perform welding tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plastics injection molding processes and possess the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines
  • Assemble and inspect finished products
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and bore gauges for machining tasks
  • Assist with tooling changes and maintenance
  • Perform welding tasks as required

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
  • Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and their operation
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Basic welding skills are a plus
