Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to physicians and surgeons, including preparing patients for exams and procedures, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling surgeries, verifying patient information, and completing forms and requisitions.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering medical supplies, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including escorting patients to exam rooms, assisting with walking and transferring, and collecting and processing specimens.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant certificate program from an approved school or equivalent training and experience preferred.
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience without the certificate program preferred.
- Certified as Medical Assistant preferred.
