In this role at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, you will contribute to the success of our team by providing exceptional care as a Travel LPN LVN Specialist.

Job Description:
  • Provide assistance to attending clinical providers, including assisting patients, taking medical histories, administering injections and immunizations, etc.
  • Accurately receive and carry out clinical staff/provider orders.
  • Perform standard diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, venipuncture, and lab specimen preparation and running.
  • Assist with housekeeping functions, such as exam room table paper changes and office cleanliness upkeep.
  • Chaperone during examinations as required or requested.
  • Be responsible for front office duties, including answering telephones, scheduling, data entry, filing, and inventory.
  • Verify information through dialogue with clinical providers on all orders/instructions given.
  • Assist with medication reconciliation and identification for upload and possible refill in the EMR application.
  • Work with providers and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate report submission, may assist in report preparation and delivery.
  • Complete administrative duties on-site, including expense reports in a timely manner following company policy.

Work Schedule:

This role typically involves working Monday to Friday, between 9am-5pm (with flexibility based on events), with travel on Sundays to destinations and Fridays returning from locations. A minimum of 70% regional travel is expected, with some national travel possible if needed.

A comprehensive onboarding and training program is provided, consisting of 2 weeks, including 1 week online and 1 week on-site at our Nashville corporate office for hands-on clinical training.

Travel expenses are fully covered by the company.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Graduation from a state-approved and accredited Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse diploma or certificate from a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or ER.
  • Current proficiency in Manual Vitals, EKGs, Blood Draws, and Venipuncture.
  • A clean and clear LPN/LVN license.
  • A valid, current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license to practice as a nurse by the state Board of Nursing.
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification with the American Heart Association required for hire.
  • A Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) to operate across the U.S. (prior to hire).
  • A valid U.S. Driver's License and willingness to drive between work locations.
  • Residency in a state within the nursing compact, and residing within 50 miles or less of a major US airport.
  • The ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.

Compensation: $37.00 - $41.00/hour, with eligibility for a quarterly bonus up to 6%
