Job Overview

The Systems Reliability Specialist collaborates with various teams within the organization, including IT, Development, and Project Management, to gather system requirements and offer support for systems in both workshop and field settings. This role involves working on-site to construct, deploy, and evaluate systems, ensuring the reliability of customer-facing services by maintaining optimal performance of supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with IT, Development, and Product Management teams to gather system requirements and support systems in workshop or field settings.
  • Work on-site to construct, deploy, and evaluate systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support for company products.
  • Develop solutions that automate the detection and resolution of recurring issues in the production environment.
  • Ensure the reliability of customer-facing services by maintaining optimal performance of supporting systems.
  • Act as a primary responder to major incidents, conducting technical reviews and presenting solutions based on findings.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and communicate findings to relevant teams.
  • Ensure the Reliability team's work aligns with organizational policies and directives.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to devise solutions for emerging issues.
  • Assist the Reliability team in staying updated on key industry innovations and technologies that support organizational growth.
  • Identify project opportunities and assist in preparing technical proposals.
  • Attend all required training sessions.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle in various conditions.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all necessary training sessions and safety meetings, and utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Must hold a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional experience in manufacturing, production, and reliability is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, able to evaluate complex issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and quick to learn other work-related software.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing during the work shift.
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in environments with moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate to loud noise, while utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Able to regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 40 lbs.
