Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care under the guidance of a licensed registered nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as performing routine tasks and reporting patient status and concerns to the RN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, and personal care.
  • Take vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.
  • Help patients with basic needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including routing patient reports as necessary.
  • Provide assessment data to certified nurses within the scope of practice.
Requirements
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
  • Phlebotomy Certification: Preferred in CA and HI
  • Audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: Preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required in CA and HI
