We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Auditor with Markets Experience to join our team at Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company. Job Responsibilities:- Perform risk-focused fieldwork, in accordance with Internal Audit policies, methodologies, and standards to identify meaningful issues, risks, and other exposure areas of the company being audited.
- Draw on extensive experience and/or specialist skills to plan and deliver audits.
- Apply advanced analytical problem-solving skills and lead others in solving complex issues and identifying innovative solutions.
- Identify inconsistencies with the control environment, regulatory requirements, and best practices and initiate the development of a structure or solution to address the issue(s).
- Identify opportunities for the use of automation and actively take part in advancing recommendations for software support requests.
- 2+ years of experience in Market Risk.
- 5+ years of total work experience preferred.
- Prior experience in Audit, Financial Instrument Trading, and/or Market Risk.
- Knowledge and experience in capital markets, including fixed income & equity, B/D compliance, swap dealer, FX trading, securities finance, liquidity/collateral segregation services, lending products, credit risk, market risk, etc. preferred.
- Additional core skill requirements include understanding of the applied and interpretation of analytics results for Audit, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related specialty such as MIS, DIS preferred.
