Skyline Nursing Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance Operations to lead our maintenance department in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary:

The Director of Maintenance Operations will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department to ensure a clean, attractive, and orderly environment.
  • Ensure the center is maintained in good repair, free from hazards caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Provide quality laundry service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas throughout the center.
  • Process and maintain records of accounts payable, supplies received, equipment maintenance, and other department business.
  • Execute the Company's preventive maintenance program and record-keeping systems.
  • Develop center profile and physical plant history by maintaining complete documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Perform all routine maintenance and repair work for the center.
  • Collaborate with residents, nurses, physicians, department leaders, and other staff members regarding environmental services requests and interdepartmental matters.
Requirements:
  • One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
  • HVAC experience.
  • Maintenance experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed.
