We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role will involve coordinating and managing project resources from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

Job Description:

The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating project resources, including personnel and equipment.
  • Managing personnel development and performance.
  • Communicating job expectations, enforcing policies, and coaching employees.
  • Conducting regular meetings to ensure work is on schedule, within budget, and compliant with technical, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Potentially working with the pre-construction team to develop project plans.
  • Managing budget and financial reporting, interpreting and analyzing reports to ensure adherence to project budget.

Requirements:

To be successful as an Assistant Project Manager, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive project management experience with a general contractor.
  • Applicable project management software knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • People skills and experience in a team-oriented environment.
