About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure AD, VMware vSphere, and cloud-based technologies.

Responsibilities
  1. Migrate on-premise Active Directory environment to cloud Azure AD.
  2. Manage VPN, Citrix, and remote management tools.
  3. Support multiple web-enabled database applications and perform basic SQL maintenance.
  4. Demonstrate basic computer networking knowledge.
  5. Support all aspects of a multi-site environment for operating systems, core support systems, email, virus protection, mass storage, and co-location sites.
  6. Manage VMware vSphere environments, SAN and NAS environments, and enterprise backup solutions.
  7. Implement operating system hardening standards and assist with patching and vulnerability remediation efforts.
  8. Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based technologies.
  9. Implement and support Exchange Online.
  10. Demonstrate strong knowledge of systems integration and IT industry best practices.
  11. Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  12. Write support documentation and procedures.
  13. Exercise critical thinking and sound judgment in decision-making.
  14. Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism during stressful situations.
  15. Communicate effectively with people of different technical skill levels and understanding.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically in IT applications and infrastructure.
  2. Expertise in Azure AD, VMware vSphere, and cloud-based technologies.
  3. Strong knowledge of VPN, Citrix, and remote management tools.
  4. Experience supporting multiple web-enabled database applications and performing basic SQL maintenance.
  5. Basic computer networking knowledge.
  6. Ability to manage multi-site environments and implement operating system hardening standards.
  7. Experience with Exchange Online and systems integration.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  9. Strong knowledge of IT industry best practices.
  10. Ability to write support documentation and procedures.
  11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  12. Fluency in English (written and oral).
  13. Abilities in a second language preferred.
