Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure resident safety and well-being.
  • Provide active supervision and therapeutic support during treatment and educational activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee therapeutic activities, including hygiene, chores, journaling, homework, and clinical assignments.
  • Document resident behavior, interventions, and effectiveness on a daily basis.
  • Conduct head counts and maintain awareness of resident whereabouts.
  • Prepare daily shift reports and attend staff meetings as required.
  • Participate in staff growth and development training activities.
  • Monitor resident behavior and provide behavioral interventions as needed.

Requirements
  • Must be 21 years or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Minimum one year experience working with youth, either paid or unpaid.
