Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN Nurse to provide private duty care to a child with low acuity needs. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with our patient, providing continuous care and support in the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with the healthcare team on patient concerns and changes in condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
