Job Overview

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to a child with low acuity needs in the Jacksonville area.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care and conduct patient assessments to coordinate care.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed.
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, case managers, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Florida.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test within the last 12 months.
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
