We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

About the Role

This is a 12H Rotating shift position, requiring a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in medical imaging, including experience with various imaging modalities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
