Job Title: Medical Imaging Specialist

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join their team. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are produced.

Job Summary:
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Produce high-quality images, including adjusting equipment settings, monitoring image quality, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
