Key Responsibilities- Engage in entry-level professional tasks, including developmental assignments that utilize standard techniques, procedures, and criteria while executing routine engineering duties under direct supervision.
- Conduct initial engineering assessments and studies to explore design enhancement options, evaluate alternatives, and support design recommendations related to transportation.
- Assist in analyzing reports, maps, drawings, aerial imagery, perform site inspections, and review survey data to develop and compile construction documentation.
- Contribute to the preparation of plans for segments of routine projects under the guidance of a project engineer or senior CADD technician.
- Support the preparation of quantity estimates.
- Draft construction, topographic, and boundary survey layouts.
- Ensure project quality on assigned tasks as outlined in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control protocols.
- Familiarity with transportation concepts.
- Understanding of surveying and fundamental engineering terminology.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- EIT Certification or successful completion of the FE Exam within six months of employment commencement.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in the field or a related discipline.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
