Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies, utilizing various types of oxygen and therapeutic gas equipment. You will also educate patients on treatments, support groups, and other available programs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
  • Measure ventilator volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
  • Perform various duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
