Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing radioactive drugs and administering them to patients for imaging or therapeutic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explain medical procedures to patients and answer questions
  • Prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients
  • Monitor patients for unusual reactions to drugs
  • Operate imaging equipment, including gamma cameras, probes, and wells
  • Keep detailed records of procedures for inspections

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification
  • Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Registered Radiographer certification
