    • Supervise and manage a team of Radiologic Technologists to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist physicians.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
    • Identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action to ensure their safety and well-being.
    • Analyze and resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner, using sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Administrative and Organizational Skills
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and team performance metrics.
    • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education
    • BS or BA preferred. The completion of a two-year program in an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • License/Certifications
    • Certification and Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
    • Active State of Maine Radiologic Technologist License.
    • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience
    • Five years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Radiology practices and standards, medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist physicians.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
    • Analytical ability sufficient to identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action.
    • Ability to identify potential crisis situations involving patients and/or families, and to plan strategies for managing these situations when they arise.
    • Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations.
