Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing operational oversight of the activities of Electroencephalogram (EEG) services and its personnel at MMC and MMP Neurology locations.

Reporting to the Director, Neuroscience Service Line, and working in collaboration with the EEG Department Medical Director, the Team Lead will be responsible for providing training, educational updates, and review of tests performed. The ideal candidate will also provide counseling of subordinates, perform all aspects of the EEG Technologist position, and foster a collaborative work environment ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and hospital and practice regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight of EEG services and personnel
  • Develop and implement training programs for EEG Technologists
  • Review and analyze EEG data to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain competency in collection of EEG data for routine EEGs, Interventional Radiology, Evoked Potentials, Continuous EEG, long-term epilepsy monitoring, and Ictal Specs
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and ensure compliance with regulations and policies

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP Accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program
  • Three to five years of progressive management experience in medium to large-sized hospitals
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
